What Saltus Does

We provide an elite strength and conditioning program involving the weight room and speed work.

We start you with a complete performance test, measuring key physical indicators. This gives us a detailed report that we will use to measure your training progress and performance improvement, on and off the ice.

Increase Your Endurance

Cardiovascular strength and a well-developed aerobic system allow you to perform at a high level throughout the game and into overtime. Exercises to enhance endurance will improve your stamina, overall energy and the ability to sustain pressure.

Increase Your Strength

Strength training improves body control, promotes greater injury resilience and boosts your speed as well as your shot power. Strong hockey players not only win puck battles but also on-ice physical matches. We’ll get you there with explosive bench press, squats, isometric mid thigh pull and more.

Increase Your Balance

Balance is a crucial component in hockey. Good balance increases puck handling skills, on-ice agility and stability, and reduces the risk of injury. To get you balanced, we’ll do single-leg drills, bosu ball exercises and core strength movements.

HEAR FROM ONE OF OUR ATHLETES

Since training with Saltus, I’ve noticed I am a way better athlete overall. Having the trainers track my progress has helped me push myself way beyond what I was doing on my own. NEED TESTIMONIAL FROM SEAN.
