Saltus Performance is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly applicants for the position of Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach. We are seeking both part-time & full-time applicants. Part-time positions have the ability to grow to a full-time position.
Applicants should be willing to work in the early mornings, evenings and/or weekends, and have reliable transportation to the odd off-site location.
The Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach will be working under the Director of Performance and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Job Duties
- Delivering coaching / personal training to clients in a 1:1, small group, and team environment
- Performance testing + analysis and communication of results
- Communicate with clients, parents, teams, and partner organizations.
- Provide each client and potential client with the best quality customer service.
- Actively assist in marketing and social media initiatives
- Assist in general organization, tidiness, and cleanliness of weight room facilities.
- Attend and participate in team meetings.
- Sales tasks
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired qualifications and experience
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Kinesiology or related field. (Applicants without will still be considered).
- Current Strength & Conditioning Credentials through an accredited body. (ex. NSCA-CSCS)
- Certified in CPR/AED
- Minimum 1 year of coaching experience.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- Possess professionalism, honesty and personal integrity
- Experience and knowledge with performance testing + analysis and communication of results
- Experience working in 1:1, small group, and team environments.
- Experience training and programming for athletes and general population.
- Experience as an athlete considered to be an asset.
- Experience in a customer service setting, providing a high level of personalized attention.
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with clients/athletes
- Experience writing at a high level.
- Experience communicating verbally at a high level.
- Sales experience
- Demonstration of ongoing continuing education
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
- Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
